We’re thinking ahead to the holidays and what adult beverages to concoct and consume. My pseudo sister-in-law has already suggested a pumpkin spice martini for Thanksgiving, which we’re going to try as soon as we find the last ingredient.
I found this recipe in a Kroger ad on Facebook, of all places. It’s a Caramel Coffee Toddy. You can find the original recipe here, or just look below:
- 8-10 oz. strong fresh brewed coffee
- 1 shot butterscotch liqueur
- 1 shot Irish cream
- 1 T caramel sundae topping
- whipped cream
Brew the coffee, add the shots and caramel. Stir until caramel is completely melted. Garnish with whipped cream and drizzle more caramel on top.
I have a huge sweet tooth, so this drink is right up my alley, but it might be too sweet for some. But this would be a perfect beverage for a cold, snowy afternoon/evening when you don’t have to be anywhere!
